Responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Participates in various aspects of supply chain process areas: Supply Chain-Plan, Supply Chain-Source, Supply Chain-Make, Supply Chain-Deliver as well as Supply Chain-Operations. Exhibits end-to-end supply chain competency and manages one or more Supply Chain functions (Planning, Sourcing, Small Business/Disadvantaged Programs, Supplier Quality, Warehouse & Transportation, Analytics, Compliance, Systems, etc.).

This position is responsible for the direct supervision/management of the staff. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies. This leader is responsible for the training, development and retention of the team.

Role reports to Manager, Global Supply Chain Site Lead for Woodland Hills. We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to interface with both internal and external customers, work closely with the Program Management, Mission Assurance, Manufacturing and Engineering Team on various efforts impacting execution to existing and upcoming customer Contracts. The individual must have Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate feedback in a manner that fosters collaboration, trust, and builds positive relationships. Act as the primary leadership contact for operations leadership to resolve material concerns that arise on the production floor. Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. This Position is located in Woodland Hills, CA and is a full time on site position. We are unable to accommodate a full time remote arrangement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance
  • Understanding of Supplier Management
  • Ability to brief all levels of leadership
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years combined experience in Business management, Subcontracts, Purchasing, Contracts, Finance, Project Management or closely related
  • 1+ years of team leadership or people management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage to a program baseline
  • Procurement and or Sub-Contracts Experience
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Supply Chain Planner Experience
  • Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM)
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience with SAP procurement & accounting systems
  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Experienced managing suppliers/vendors
  • Risk mitigation experience
  • Change Management experience
  • Supplier selection/management experience on US Government contract(s). 


Salary Range: $101,800 USD - $152,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
