Principal/Senior Principal Training Representative – FTO

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal / Senior Principal Training Representative - Flight Test Organization (FTO) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This position will be located in Edwards AFB, CA.

In this role, the candidate will assist in the administration of training programs including management workshops, running reports, assigning training, budgeting, compliance training, soft skills courses among others to help employee cultivate their skills and knowledge.

This position is 100% on-site at Edwards AFB, CA. Due to the dynamic environment of flight test, occasional overtime and off-shift work (nights/weekends) may be required.

**This role may be filled at the Principal or Senior Principal level**

Essential Functions:

• Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
• Assist with onboarding new hire program
• Assist in mapping out training plans and schedules, for corporate, functional and employee training
• Develop courseware for items or system-based trainings
• Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session and compile data
• Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Support IPT department functions in the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accuracy of employee course completion
• Assist employees with LMS related questions
• Maintain project documentation and course folders

Basic Qualifications (Principal Training Representative):

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university  
• A minimum of 5 years of qualifiable, related professional/military experience with a Bachelors Degree OR 3 years qualifiable, related professional/military experience with a Masters degree
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university  
• A minimum of 8 years of qualifiable, related professional/military experience with a Bachelors Degree OR 6 years qualifiable, related professional/military experience with a Masters degree
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lesson and curriculum planning skills
• Aircraft Maintenance or Maintenance Training experience
