Due to recent growth and expansion of our Secure Network Solutions portfolio, Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking to appoint a Technical Lead with ICT system architecture experience to support this success.

Your role:

As a newly acquired Program supporting the ADF’s enhanced joint C4 systems, you will be working with our Secure Network Solutions Business Unit which develops and supports advanced communications products and services for the ADF and other Government agencies.

Growing and leading a team, you will set up engineering and technical activities over the program’s lifecycle including architecture and proposed solution artefacts. Supported by a team of like-minded professionals, you will get the program off the ground by gathering requirements and specifications for the technical aspects of the program working collaboratively with Commonwealth stakeholders as well as local and US-based Northrop Grumman team members.

About you:

As the most senior technical member of the program, you will be well-versed in leading and growing technical teams. You come from a relevant IT, Software or Computer Systems background ideally with experience supporting Command and Control software applications.

You have strong foundational knowledge and experience across different methodologies (e.g. Agile) and best practices. A nice to have is experience working within Defence (CASG, CIOG, JCG etc.), however knowledge of working in a heavily regulated environment is also good.

This position is ideally based in Canberra or Brisbane. Flexible work options are available.
