Our Integrated Systems Operational Unit (OU) is at the forefront of emerging projects, products, systems, and technologies which is paramount to Northrop Grumman Australia’s growth strategy. This has opened up a new opportunity for a Solution Architect to join the Integrated Systems Capture Team.

Your role:

As an Engineering Professional, you will play a critical role in capturing and shaping customer needs and transforming them into viable technical solutions. With extensive knowledge and experience in Solutions Architecture, you will serve as a subject matter expert for multi-domain capture proposals.

As the Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining project architecture including designing and managing logical solutions, requirements engineering, interface design, safety, and cyber resilience. Your expertise with MBSA programs and systems architecture will see you promote agile engineering practices. You will work closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally to explore capabilities to support capture objectives.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions that exceed customer expectations, meeting their requirements, and transforming their needs into tangible and competitive results.

About you:

As an experienced engineer, you will have the ability to hold Chartered Professional Engineering(CPEng) status and have a strong understanding of systems engineering and complex defence acquisition projects in the early stages of discovery.

Having a strong understanding of the principles of DODAFO, UAF, sysML, or equivalent architecture paradigms and additionally, familiarity with MBSE software tools (DOORS or CAMEO), Agile, DevOps, and open systems architecture will allow you to support key Captures.

Leading from the front you will have excellent communication skills and talent for building productive relationships with key stakeholders working towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives with a consultative and collaborative approach.
