We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Cyber Software Tester based out of Annapolis Junction, MD.
What You'll get to Do:
The Staff Cyber Software Tester will test, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. This person designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions, conducts multidisciplinary research, and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, testing, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. We are looking for a Software Test Engineer who also performs research and requirements management in addition to software testing.
Basic Qualifications:
- A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph through the MD customer is required to start on program with latest polygraph being less than 5 years old.
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Understanding of design, development, documenting, testing software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Experience developing and executing test procedures for software components.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Java programming language is preferred.
- Capable of performing research in addition to testing efforts.
- An ability to work in a team environment and individually is preferred.
- An ability to determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems.
