The selected candidate will serve as an application administrator of a major engineering application system supporting a major corporation. The new hire will perform technical system implementation tasks, maintain applications performing Apache, TomEE installation, software upgrades, configuration, vulnerability remediation, patching, and performance monitoring on Linux platforms (RHEL). Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour days Monday through Thursday and take every first Friday off in a pay period.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related discipline and at least 5 years of applicable experience (Appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement)
  • 5 or more years of direct hands-on experience in performing systems and application administration
  • Current DoD Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI access
  • Current Comptia Security+, maintaining a current Security+CE certification will be a condition of continued employment
  • Must have the ability to work onsite and in secured areas
  • Must have the ability to provide occasional after-hours and weekend support as needed
  • Experience with Web based infrastructure, web/application server, load balancing, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery is required
  • Candidate must be proficient in troubleshooting and solving web/application problems in a production environment and must have a good understanding of the engineering business process
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical and technical professionals
  • Prior project and technical leadership experience is a must
  • Working knowledge of networking, information security, Apache TomEE, web site administration, Oracle databases, and developing scripts to automate various administration tasks
  • License Administration experience
  • Experience with Linux Servers (RHEL)
  • Preferred candidate will have Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience, but not a requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or other related discipline and at least 2 years of direct hands-on experience in performing systems and application administration
  • Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access
  • Experience working with any PLM system (preferable Enovia 3DExperience)
  • Experience with PLM support and incident resolution

Salary Range: $101,400 USD - $152,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
