Northrop Grumman's Chief Information and Data Office (CIDO) is seeking a dynamic Software Development Analyst. The qualified applicant will perform software development and maintenance tasks as a member of Software Development team, providing system support for Test Equipment Asset Management and Metrology System, or TEAMMS. TEAMMS is used to manage and control test equipment used for measurement. This includes: forecast needs, acquisition, inventory control, tracking calibration work cycle including history, billing components, gap analysis, equipment sales.
This position will allow for partial telecommuting but the candidate will need to be on site for a minimum of two days per week in Redondo Beach, CA.
The incumbent will work closely with multiple user communities. He/she will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. These software applications will be developed in a variety of technologies, including but are not limited to: Microsoft Visual Studio C# and PowerBuilder development, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, scripting languages.
Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Directly support resolution of all software related problems within TEAMMS environments.
- Gather requirements TEAMMS software support needs from business partners.
- Perform various software engineering tasks involved in the entire SW development life cycle from requirements analysis up to software maintenance.
- Support strategic planning of software tool usage through process development, automation and technology.
- Participate in routine maintenance of applications and infrastructure (apply and test patches, maintain app account/passwords, address server and application vulnerabilities, support power outages, facilities moves and other off-shift maintenance activities, etc.)
- Support various enterprise initiatives and technology and data center uplifts.
- Work with Customers - answer user questions and assist, patches
- Work closely with TEAMMS team members

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related discipline and at least 4 years of related IT or Software Development experience OR 2 Years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
- The selected candidate(s) will have proven experience with Oracle 12C databases and above, Oracle PL/SQL including packages, procedures and functions.
- Demonstrated experience PowerBuilder programming
- Proven experience with Embedded SQL Programing and programming in C#
- Knowledge of Tool management and Metrology
- Must have the ability to provide occasional after-hours and weekend support as needed.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
