Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Manager, Digital Engineering Systems that will work with a dynamic team managing IT and Enterprise Services in support of the Space Systems sector's PLM Center of Excellence. The qualified candidate will oversee teams of IT professionals as they provide direct support and leadership to PLM Systems and will direct all IT strategy and operational activities including service delivery, technical requirements gathering / forecasting, IT solutions, and project execution. The candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the Space Systems IT Program Management Office (SP PMO) and business partner organizations and will provide leadership to the technical teams supporting PLM Systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and develop a team of IT professionals at varying levels in their careers to successfully exceed the expectations of the clients and to grow their careers with Northrop Grumman.
  • Prepare and execute the staffing plan to align with the user support requirements and ensure that the 'day to day' support to the end user is delivered efficiently and effectively by the Enterprise Services functional homeroom.
  • Effectively interacts with other members of the IT Solutions leadership team to optimize IT strategies in support of business partner goals and objectives.
  • Provides leadership over product, process, application, and technology supporting the business partners to include strategy development, budget and cost management, proposal development, product and service acquisition and delivery, and communication activities thereby ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates with project teams and resource managers to ensure that requirements are managed, changes are documented, and systems are developed, integrated, tested, and deployed, as defined within the business partner’s requirements.
  • Resolves competing demands related to project scope, schedule, cost, customer satisfaction, and quality and ensures compliance with organizational processes and procedures.
  • Apprises Northrop Grumman management of status, customer satisfaction, and risks that might affect program performance, and managing the human resources to ensure team success Basic Qualifications - must be measurable.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Must have at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience is required; a Master’s degree and 4 years of experience; or PhD and 2 years of experience will also be accepted.
  • Must have experience managing, supervising, or leading cross functional teams and/or individuals.
  • Must have experience in providing strategic direction, regarding IT products, processes, applications, and technology.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
  • Must have experience with PLM system delivery and support.
  • The qualified candidate must be customer-focused with proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Candidate must be entrepreneurial, self-starter and can challenge the status quo.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret Security clearance is preferred.
  • PMP Project Management Professional Certification
  • Lean Six Sigma experience.

    This position reports to Corinne, UT, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 4 locations listed above.


    Salary Range: $127,700 USD - $201,600 USD

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
