Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking a PC Network Support Tech 2 to support its Space Systems sector Cyber Uplift Project. Located in Utah at our Magna site, and reporting to the IT Program Senior Manager, CIO PMO for the Launch and Missile Defense Solutions, duties will include:

  • Provides technical support for computers and associated networks.
  • Assist in writing Information Systems Security Plans (ISSPs), supporting DRP assessments, planning and execution.
  • Assist environment owners with assessment and creation of disaster recovery plans.
  • Upgrade machines and perform off-net patching on devices to ensure compliance with DFARS and CMMC.
  • Add and maintain firewall routing rules for off-network, lab, engineering, and manufacturing environments.
  • Write and maintain staging scripts to ensure uniform configurations for all cyber uplifted devices.
  • Investigate information, network, and communications needs of users, and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
  • Install, troubleshot, serviced, and repair personal computers, network equipment such as servers, modems, related PC software, cables, and connectors.
  • Assist environment owners with creation and maintenance of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Setup and maintain compliance and vulnerability remediation for off-network, lab, engineering, and manufacturing environments.
  • Support client and server domain migrations
  • Setup and configure rack mount workstations.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot engineering applications for areas across the business.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot manufacturing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR a High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Industry recognized Cyber Security or relevant Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DFARS experience
  • Experience with DRP assessment and implementation, Information Systems Security Plans (ISSPs)

Salary Range: $41,000 USD - $68,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
