Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a User Applications Liaison to join our team of diverse professionals.  The candidate will support the Army PPB BOS program where they will provide technical solutions to a large and growing user base. The candidate will communicate daily with multiple users, coordinate with stakeholders and software developers, determine solutions to a wide variety of problems, and provide high quality service to our government customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to help desk tickets.
  • Available to work to 7pm several days of the week for Help Desk coverage.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization with internal and external customers, in written and verbal format.
  • Provide customer support to government customers as well as Army organizations.
  • Provide answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, confirming user accesses/permissions, troubleshooting issues.
  • Provide information/training when required, and guiding users through corrective steps in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with software developers and customers to resolve reported issues.
  • Follow Help Desk policies, plans and procedures using the Issue Tracking system.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of hands-on technical support experience, with bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Ability to communicate with end users to determine their issues and resolve problems.
  • Active DoD Secret or Interim Secret clearance.
  • Analytical, troubleshooting and research help desk issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs (MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DoD financial processes.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of network protocols.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics software such as Tableau, Qlik, Oracle OBIEE, etc.

Salary Range: $58,000 USD - $87,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
