Northrop Grumman is looking for a Senior IT Manager to Performs technical planning and leadership. This individual will identify and implement projects relating to new products and/or industries, technologies, or services and determines the feasibility of product development. Performs economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and/or business models and coordinates with internal groups in identifying implementation. This individual will develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.

This individual will also be responsible for the day-to-day technical leadership for product teams, and groups that perform IT system administration, networking, cyber , lab support, integration, and tools engineering in a classified environment. The IT Manager will lead these resources to improve processes and implement projects in an effort to drive technical solutions and a road map for future growth.

Advanced level of understanding in several diverse IT related disciplines. Involves a broad grasp of involved processes, practices, and procedures as it relates to best business practices.

Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Integrate IP based Networks primarily consisting of RHEL Systems and Cisco devices
  • Execute root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues
  • Serve as an Integration engineering SME to include supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and suggesting changes to improve performance
  • Interact with Senior leadership, Government customers as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED and 13 years of applicable experience. Will also consider Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of Engineering experience; or a Master's and 5 years; 4 additional years acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • Hands on Strong experience engineering or administering Cisco networks and RHEL Systems
  • Ability to script or work at the command line level within RHEL systems and Windows based systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a high stress and dynamic environment
  • Current Security certification (e.g. Security+ CE or CISSP)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Current Secret security clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Linux infrastructure design experience (RHEL)
  • Windows infrastructure design experience
  • Strong understanding or experience with Network Design and Architecture
  • Strong understanding of Agile
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts
  • CCNA/CCNP/CCNE/CCDP/CCIE Certified
  • ITIL Foundations or Intermediate certified

Salary Range: $107,000 USD - $160,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
