This position requires an Agile Product Owner to support the Threat Products and Services (TPS) product line of the DE Task Order on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) program. The job location is at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. 

Candidate will support a team of systems engineers, test engineers, and software developers to plan, design, develop, test, and document feature capabilities.  Primary responsibilities include developing requirements, prioritizing the team backlog, and documenting capabilities. Additionally, this position will require coordination across operational, simulation, and user communities to design and deploy new features and enhancements to new and existing applications.  Secondary responsibilities will include interfacing with TPS customers and presenting technical briefings to TPS stakeholders. 

Basic Qualifications:   

Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related discipline, 5 years related experience; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD

Level 4: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related discipline, 9 years related experience; 7 Years with Masters; 5 Years with PhD

  • Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products 
  • Experience in maintaining team backlog 
  • Experience in Agile Software Development Methodologies 
  • Experience in development and maintaining requirements and technical documentation 
  • Basic understanding of object oriented software development, and have an understanding of Linux platforms 
  • Able to prioritize, execute, and delegate tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment 
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. 
  • Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. 
  • DoD Interim Secret, able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Proficient in Agile software development methodologies including SAFe   
  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite 
  • Knowledge / experience with missile defense systems and modeling and simulation development 
  • Currently have DoD Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $95,100 USD - $142,700 USD
Salary Range 2: $117,900 USD - $176,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
