Northrop Grumman Chief Information Office is seeking a well-qualified Windows and Virtualization Systems Analyst to join our qualified, diverse, and dynamic team of technical professionals in Cincinnati, OH. 

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Perform administration of VMware and Microsoft platforms across the site, among other technologies.

  • This senior position will be expected to lead and become a valuable member of the team supporting various technologies.

  • Manage and support various components of the technical infrastructure, including Active Directory, system updates, patching and administration of various IT systems.

  • Analyze and resolve hardware and software problems for end users, with primary emphasis on server-related issues.

  • Provide support to end users and other staff in resolution of more complex issues related to software tools, applications, databases, and system access.

  • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management.

  • Administer backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space; manage virus protection on a routine basis.

  • Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.

  • Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).

  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format.

  • Works under minimal direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

  • The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

This position may filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  • Associate’s degree and 7 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience OR 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Ability to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access level as a condition of continued employment.

  • IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+ CE) or greater.

  • Experience managing Windows Server OS and domain architecture.

Basic Qualifications for Level 4:

  • Associate’s degree and 11 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 7 years of experience OR 13 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Ability to obtain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access level as a condition of continued employment.

  • IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+ CE) or greater.

  • Experience managing Windows Server OS and domain architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in IS related field

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance

  • Current DoD 8570 training and certifications, Security+ certification CE+ (IAT Level II certification)

  • Knowledge of VMware products including vCenter, and vSphere/ESXi, among others.

  • Experience operating under and managing systems within DCSA, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments

  • VMWare experience/certification; vCenter, ESXi environments v6.5+

  • Windows domain architecture experience, to include AD, LDAP, RADIUS, certificate authorities

  • Knowledge of SAN storage systems (NetApp OnTap, E-Series, other vendor solutions)

Salary Range: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD
Salary Range 2: $107,000 USD - $160,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
