Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst – Intelligence System Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting our III Corps Mission Command Training program at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. The Intelligence System Analyst manages and maintains all Intelligence Simulations Systems for the Fort Hood, TX (FHTX) Mission Training Complex. The selected candidate must have comprehensive knowledge, understanding, and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts of intelligence simulation systems. Must work independently most of the time with general or no direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates and maintains the Intelligence Fusion Servers for the Fort Hood Mission Training Complex

  • Operates the WARSIM Intelligence Module Lower and Upper Enclaves to include the Tactical Communications Support Processor and Radiant Mercury

  • Serves as the System Administrator for various computer systems

  • Operates the Virtual Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) simulation systems

  • Possess a working knowledge of Army Mission Command Information Systems and be able to integrate all intelligence warfighting function simulations with the Intelligence Fusion Server which serves as the primary interface between echelon Distribution Common Ground Station - Army (DCGS-A) sub-systems, external Intelligence Fusion Server (IFS), and other Army mission command information systems

  • Provide expertise in the development, execution, and assessment of tailored and dynamic simulation stimulated training scenarios and preparatory events

Basic Qualifications:

  • One of the following:

    • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Cybersecurity & Information Assurance (IA), or related technical experience

    • Bachelor of Science degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity & IA, or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of CS, IT, Cybersecurity & IA, or related technical experience

    • Master of Science degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity & IA, or related discipline

  • Possess an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Special Background Investigation

  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE)

  • Experience as an IFS Field Software Engineer  

  • Must be able to travel to CONUS locations up to 25%, as required

  • Must be able to work on-site at Fort Hood in Texas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Military Intelligence/Targeting operations at the BDE/DIV/CORPS level

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator

  • Experience operating intelligence simulation systems to include Warfighter Information Network (WIM), MUSE, Intelligence Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT), and Virtual UAS

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Networking


Salary Range: $66,600 USD - $99,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
