Job Description:

The candidate will perform system security engineering activities supporting all phases of systems development in the areas of Cybersecurity/Systems Security Engineering, and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) as per Risk Management Framework (RMF) for the WISŁA IBCS Program in Huntsville, Alabama. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Support system security requirements, architecture, design, development, evaluation, certification, and accreditation.
• Work with Product Teams in support of secure operating systems, applications, networks, hardware, databases, etc.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance i.e., patch management.
• Perform vulnerability scans and mitigate findings.
• Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Work on multiple simultaneous tasks.
• Apply risk management concepts to mitigate vulnerabilities in security architectures.
• Preparation of ATO artifacts to include baselines, SOP, SSP, RAR, and POA&M.
• Perform routine systems administrator tasks i.e., password resets, responding to helpdesk tickets, etc.  

Basic Qualifications:

• Current DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (i.e., Security+, etc.)
• Level 2: Associate degree and 5 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, or master’s degree and 0 years of experience; an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Level 3: Associate degree and 7 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience; 3 years of related experience with a master’s degree; an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
• General understanding of Risk Management Framework in a Defense and Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) accredited environment.
• Understanding of Patch Management leveraging Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and Red Hat Satellite.  
• Knowledge of Vulnerability Management utilizing tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)/Tenable.sc
• Additional Operating System Environment Certifications i.e., (Linux+, RHCSA, Net+, CCNA, VMware Certified, etc.)
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible

Salary Range: $85,000 USD - $127,000 USD

Salary Range 2: $104,000 USD - $157,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
