The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is a trusted provider of mission-enabling solutions for global security.  Our Engineering and Sciences (E&S) organization pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. Our team is chartered with providing the skills, innovative technologies to develop, design, produce and sustain optimized product lines across the sector while providing a decisive advantage to the warfighter. 

The Distributed Sites Camarillo team supports several Airborne Electronic Attack programs across two offices – Camarillo and Pt Mugu. As a Principal Systems Administrator for our organization, you will support the labs and networks in both our Northrop Grumman and Customer facilities. You will enable our team of engineers to successfully support the Airborne Electronic Attack missions.

The team is looking for you to join our organization as a Principal Systems Administrator. While supporting the EA-18G programs, you’ll get to:

  • Collaborate with our customer, internal NG sites and other engineering disciplines
  • Design and implement network security protocols for quality, robustness, and scale
  • Design, Install, and Monitor new and expansions of existing networks
  • Perform and maintain security backups in case of server or program malfunctions
  • Participate in Continuous Integration

The successful candidate will utilize some of following tools and technologies to support our customer needs.

  • Scripting Languages such as Bash, Python, Node.js, HTML, JavaScript
  • DevSecOps
  • Cloud Computing
  • Operating Systems such as Windows 10, REHL and use of Virtual Machines

Basic Qualifications:

  • Security+ Certification
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years experience
  • Networking Experience
  • Account Access Management
  • Security and Monitoring Experience
  • Scripting Languages and Automation
  • Ability to function as a member of an integrated team
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a clearance before you start

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Classified Environments
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI

Salary Range: $95,000 USD - $142,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
