We are Northrop Grumman Space Systems focused on work in the Launch and Missile Defense Systems area – Seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst or Principal Cybersecurity Analyst based out of either Boulder, CO or Colorado Springs, CO.

   

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals using knowledge of NIST, RMF, and program requirements to develop, implement, and manage system security solutions.  Candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with system end-users, customers, other project engineers and software developers, as well as possess good written and verbal communication skills.

This requisition may be filled as either a Cybersecurity Analyst (Level 2) or a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst (Level 3)

Basic Qualifications for a Cybersecurity Analyst or Principal Cybersecurity Analyst:

  • Linux OS Experience
  • Must have a Secret clearance and ability to maintain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT/IAM II certification 
  • Level 2 - Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience; 0 years of related experience with a Masters or PhD; 6+ years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree 
  • Level 3 - Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience; 3 years of related experience with a Masters or PhD; 9+ years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree 

   

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and associated family of documents
  • Thorough understanding and utilization of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGS/Benchmarks and SCAP Compliance Checker
  • Working Knowledge and ability to configure Tenable Security Center/Nessus
  • Understanding of risk management framework and risk analysis using industry standard practices
  • Familiarity with Identity/Authentication management tools and concepts


 

**Please note that this role is contingent on the program award and increased scope of the SWDC BOA program.**

This position reports to Boulder, CO, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Colorado Springs, CO, CO, USA.


Salary Range: $77,200 USD - $127,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $95,100 USD - $157,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
