Northrop Grumman is looking for a PMO Analyst. This position can be filled as a Principal, level 03 or Sr. Principal, level 04 - depending on education and experience of the chosen candidates (requirements listed below in the qualifications section).

This role is not location specific and can be supported virtually.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Underpins and supports the ERP CoE organization execution and delivery through execution of PMO functions and processes including:
    • Change Control processes
    • People onboarding/offboarding
    • Workshop Management
    • Deliverables control and reporting
    • Facilitation of governance forums (e.g. CMB, stage gates)
    • Preparation of materials (reports, checklists, presentations) with appropriate stakeholders, distribution of materials, chairing of meetings, production & distribution of minutes.
    • Assurance and distribution of delivery initiative status reports.
    • RAAIDD management (Risk, Assumption, Action, Issue, Dependency and Decision).
    • Tracking and management of KPIs related to budgets, and resource utilization.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues on programs/projects – helping  team to develop risk management and issue management plans
  • Identify potential points of contention for missed deliverables
  • Develop and manage plans to address program/project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Ability to balance both the "science" of how to perform program/project management and the "art" of program/project management, which is learned through experience and skill training/application
  • Analysis of program/project data to produce management information and identify and deliver continual improvement
  • Resource management activities to ensure effective utilization and capacity management; developing and maintaining the overall goals for the function (through the balanced scorecard), contributing to and driving those goals across the function on behalf of the function leader;
  • Contributing to the design of processes and tools used by service delivery functions to ensure demand, program/project status, finances etc can be easily aggregated to the enterprise level;
  • Reporting via management dashboards with actions identified to deliver continual improvement.
  • Each PMO Analyst may support one or more PMO Managers and will be asked to participate in specific improvement initiatives linked to this area of activity

Basic Qualifications - to be considered for this position you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:

  • Principal, level 03: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors OR 3 years of relevant experience with Masters
  • Sr. Principal, level 04: 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors or 7 years of relevant experience with Masters
  • Functional/business process knowledge spanning Business Management, Supply Chain and Manufacturing & Logistics
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Project, with heavy focus on MS PowerPoint
  • Able to quickly decipher what information is critical to the success of a project and formulate into a clear and concise messaging for project leadership consumption
  • 5+ years in implementing SAP Projects
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a wide range of users ranging from individual contributors up to senior leadership
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Project Management experience with knowledge in cost treatment of project activities, budget planning and schedule execution
  • Quick learner of new applications
  • Able to develop clear and concise processes to improve efficiency
     

Preferred Qualifications - candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Experience with implementing ERP projects leveraging SAP Activate methodology
  • Self-starter who works quickly and effectively, can get up to speed with program processes quickly and enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Power BI experience
  • SharePoint administration experience

This position reports to Unknown City, TX, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 5 locations listed above.


Salary Range: $95,100 USD - $142,700 USD
Salary Range 2: $117,900 USD - $176,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
