Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Network System Admonition Manager.  This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.  

The System Administrator manager is responsible for installation, configuration, and day to day operation of the System Test teams' Systems Integration Laboratory. Using DevOps and Agile methodologies you and the system administration team will be constantly optimizing systems and services for security, automation, and performance/availability. Additionally, ensuring solutions developed adhere and align to the baseline system design, configuration management, and architecture standards. You will work closely in a DevOps environment with the program personnel to ensure smooth execution of continuous integration and test.

  

What You’ll Get To Do:   

  • Application of software updates, security patches, installation of software and hardware within the labs
  • User account creation and maintenance
  • Deployment and day to day upkeep of user workstations and networked resources across the labs
  • Working with Cybersecurity teams to implement and assure compliance to cyber controls and policies 
  • Section manager. Daily tasking and scheduling of system administration team.  Responsible for employee feedback, employee career growth, performance evaluations, and team staffing.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.    

  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:  

  • AA Degree or 4 additional years of experience and 5 years minimum experience; STEM degree preferred. 
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance adjudicated in the last 6 years with ability to obtain SAP. 
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI Clearance and SAP access within a reasonable amount of time. At least one year experience leading projects or cross-functional teams
  • 1+ years experience managing large networks 
  • 1+ years experience managing a network design schedule

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  

  • Active Top Secret granted within the last 6 years
  • Operating within classified environments.
  • Prior knowledge of data encryption and handling of sensitive data a plus
  • Prior experience with DevSecOps and AGILE methodologies 


Salary Range: $87,900 USD - $131,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
