Northrop Grumman Cyber Assessment Tiger Team is seeking a full-time operations manager to coordinate multiple simultaneous penetration testing project teams engaged in multidisciplinary planning, execution and communication of findings. CATT operations span across functional organizations and will require coordination with parallel assessment and remediation operations, budgetary planning, metrics reporting and resource management. The incumbent will also provide advisory support to the Cyber Threat Assessment & Awareness manager in planning, execution and optimization of engagements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinates, resources and tracks status of offensive cybersecurity services. Interfaces with cybersecurity and program leadership of Northrop Grumman Mission, Defense, Space & Aeronautics Systems sectors. Manages hardware & software procurement and license management. Assists in budgetary planning & tracking. Manages service requests, tracks team availability, qualifications, training, and partners with penetration testing leads to create mission-appropriate teams per engagement. Provides additional penetration testing and vulnerability research & development execution support as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant Cybersecurity operations experience with a bachelor's degree OR 3 years of relevant experience with a master's degree OR 7 years of relevant experience with an associate degree OR 9 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experience writing technical documents and briefing senior level executives on complex issues.
  • Experience supporting risk assessments, or information systems security engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of human resource principles and practices
  • Familiar with Information Security concepts and terminology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with common penetration testing tools and concepts - vulnerability development, scanning, social engineering, web application penetration testing, wireless exploitation
  • Project management certifications – SAFE, PMP, PgMP or equivalent
  • Information systems security certifications – OSCP, GPEN, GSEC, GCED, CISM, etc.
  • Previous experience countering Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) type threats to large enterprises (USG or commercial), such that there is familiarity with techniques and tools employed.
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes
  • Prior experience with Northrop Grumman network architecture, IT Solutions and Information Security
  • Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework
  • Familiarity with OSSTMM 3, NIST SP800-15, Penetration Testing Framework
  • Current US DoD Secret Security Clearance

Salary Range: $104,600 USD - $157,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
