Salary: £56,000 - £80,000

Role clearance type: Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearance.

Location:   Hybrid with regular on-site presence in Cheltenham/London and other locations as the business requires.

About Your Opportunity:

This is a highly visible, position that actively leads and engages with multiple internal and external stakeholders to provide leadership, subject matter expertise, advice, and monitoring for Northrop Grumman's EMEA and APAC data processing and data control activities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Analyst, provide subject matter expertise on the EU, UK, and Middle East privacy portfolio, leading risk and compliance activities, performing data inventory and data mapping and other privacy tasks in support of the Global Privacy Team’s goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the Global Privacy Team in developing and implementing consistent privacy practices in multiple languages across multiple entities and jurisdictions in the EU, UK, and Middle East ensuring compliance
  • Serve as key resource and point of contact to business, partner functions, and other key stakeholders, informing and advising of their obligations under the EU, UK, and Middle East data protection regulations to meet legal and regulatory requirements wherever NG does business in the region.
  • Cultivate and influence local customer group senior management to ensure a strong compliance ethos
  • Foster a data protection culture across Northrop Grumman’s EU, UK and Middle East entities, making recommendations for initiatives and communications to regularly refresh employee awareness and engagement in data protection.

Your Experience:

  • In depth knowledge of European and UK data protection law; basic knowledge of data protection law of the Middle East; IAPP CIPP/E Certification or other CIPP Certifications strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with OneTrust Privacy Management application; OneTrust certifications strongly preferred
  • Proven track record as an excellent communicator to managers, team members, and key stakeholders
  • Adaptability in a changing environment
  • Highly-organised and proficient at multi-tasking, working with and resolving competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, customers, and cultures at different levels, in different organisations and geographic locations
  • Legal background a plus.
