Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst. 

The position will report to the Manager of International Trade Compliance for the Payload and Ground Systems division and will be located in Dulles, VA; Linthicum, MD; Colorado Springs, CO; Boulder, CO; Redondo Beach, CA; or San Diego, CA.  This position will also support a hybrid schedule or full-time telework.

Basic Qualifications:

• Basic qualifications are skills that all applicants must possess in order to be considered for the position. 

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8- years related experience or Master’s degree with 8-10 years related experience   
• Working knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Experience in the applicability and use of ITAR exemptions and EAR exceptions.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred qualifications are possible skills, knowledge, abilities and competencies that candidates may or may not possess
• Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal guidance and supervision.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with the technology release process and foreign trade regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.

This position reports to Dulles, VA, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 5 locations listed above.

Salary Range: $107,000 USD - $160,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
