Job Summary: Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be willing to work 3:30pm - 1am on 9/80 schedule
Must be able to obtain security clearance upon hire (be a US Citizen)
High School Diploma and 4+ years of manufacturing experience
Must be willing to perform some training on 1st shift for about 1 month.
Must have mechanical and soldering experiencing on module level hardware
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DOD clearance
Comfortable with operating inline machinery.
Experienced with windows and MS office suite.
Capable of data collection requirements per SOP's.
Detail oriented and is willing to inspect small components under magnification for long periods of time.
Comfortable with handling / mixing chemicals, such as solvents, epoxies and coatings.
