Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Tool Crib Attendant 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

The Tool Crib Attendant receives, stores, and issues tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices. Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database. Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure. Ensures that measuring devices are periodically calibrated. DoD Security Clearance and Program Access (PAR) required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of warehousing, inventory, or production/assembly experience

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel)

• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.

• Must have active DoD Secret Clearance (to apply/start) and the ability to obtain/maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (after starting).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Tool Crib

• Knowledge of standard hand tools

• Must be experienced in tool repair

• Able to operate and or be certified to operate a forklift and overhead crane (Northrop Grumman provided training).

• Able to work inside and outside in a warehouse / shop floor environment.

• Working knowledge of common hardware and tooling material.

Salary Range: $42,100 USD - $70,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
