Northrop Grumman offers an opportunity to support production/sustainment business in a team-based manufacturing environment at our Rolling Meadows, IL facility. The Manufacturing Analyst/Principle Manufacturing Analyst will help shape process improvements projects, perform data analysis, and drive actions related to sustainment activities in a team-based environment.  The incumbent will act as the primary point of contract between variety of functional areas such as Manufacturing, Contracts, Program and Property Administration Office.  Incumbents may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, develop internal processes or procedures, and are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures compliance with property management system procedures and processes based on government regulations and company policies and procedures for Rolling Meadows Operations activities.
  • GOLDesp administrative system support for Operations
  • Acts as the primary interface for Operations regarding the receipt, storage, and disposal of customer and government property.
  • Collaborates with functional teams across our sectors and campuses to develop innovative solutions for complex processes and issues.
  • Create metrics and perform analysis from system data to mitigate risk and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate project status and results to various levels of leadership.

Manufacturing Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant work experience, or 1 years of experience with a master’s degree; Note:  An additional 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to work projects both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • This position requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD (Department of Defense) U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Ability to work on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL

Principle Manufacturing Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant work experience, or 4 years of experience with a master’s degree; Note:  An additional 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience working on teams and/or projects in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • This position requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD (Department of Defense) U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Ability to work on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with property management system(s) (GOLDesp) and Customer/Government Property adhering to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.245-1.
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Possess strong leadership and communication skills, ability to counsel, coach, develop, and motivate a diverse group of professionals and personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present information on complex projects to key stakeholders.

MANUMS


Salary Range: $67,000 USD - $100,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $82,400 USD - $123,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
