Northrop Grumman is seeking an Operations Team Supervisor (OTS) position at our Bacchus, UT location. 

The OTS responsible for the direct supervision of the personnel and manufacturing activities in the 4A/Subscale work center. Ensures company policies, directives and operating procedures are being followed. Communicates operating protocol issues to supervision and management. The successful candidate must possess the ability to assess and make recommendations to resolve technical issues. Must be able to assure production by utilizing knowledge, and experience at the point of manufacture. Must be accountable for the task and result of the team. Must exhibit adherence to all safety rules, regulations and standards to assure the safety of NG personnel and facilities.  Candidate must understand and implement all PES principles into all manufacturing process.  Must be EP compliant.


Requirements:

•  High School Diploma or GED with 8 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. 
•  Two years successful experience in a propellant, ingredient, propellant-manufacturing environment.
•  Skill in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and operating procedures.
•  Skills acquired through 8 years operations experience.

•  Able to acquire and maintain Employee Possessor (EP) status under the Safe Explosives Act (SEA)

Preferred Skills:

•  A.S. degree plus six years’ experience or a B.S. degree with four years of experience.
•  One year experience using visual daily management systems, standard work and coaching techniques.

Selection Criteria:

•  Demonstrated experience leading a work team to achieve organizational goals.
•  Understand operational protocol procedures and work orders.
•  Basic computer skills to include Word Perfect, Access, Excel and Power Point.
•  Familiarity with Propellant manufacturing procedures and processes.
•  Experience with mfg. Support systems to include MM&IR, OPCB safety and QA policies and procedures.
•  Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
•  Engaged in Continuous Improvement initiatives by implementing PES Principles.


Salary Range: $63,200 USD - $105,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
