Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a talented Supplier Quality Analyst to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ to support the Global Autonomous & Tactical Solutions Operating Unit.
The selected candidate will perform the following:
- Perform inspection activities including but not limited to Receiving Inspection, Source Inspection, Virtual/Desktop Inspection, and supplier audits using calibrated tooling, drawings, specifications and engineering data to determine acceptability of products to contract and Northrop Grumman requirements.
- Review proposals and contracts for Quality and Supplier Quality related requirements.
- Review, Input and assign Supplier Quality Assurance Requirements in S4 Baseline Quality Requirements Planning System.
- Review the PO/PR content including the Supplier Quality Assurance Requirements on the PO. Should there be any discrepancies, resolves with Global Supply Chain (GSC) or buyers.
- Evaluate the need for, issue, and review Supplier Corrective Action Request to external suppliers for deficiencies delivered.
- Interacts with internal and external customers on issues requiring coordination between organizations in a professional manner.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written), and organizational skills. Must work well in a team setting.
- Attention to details and works with an appropriate sense of urgency.
Qualifications
Supplier Quality Analyst (Level 2)
- Bachelor's degree with 2 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, production control, global supply chain, and/or quality; OR a Master’s Degree with 0 or more years of engineering, manufacturing, or production control, global supply chain, and/or quality OR 6 or more years of relevant engineering, manufacturing, production control, global supply chain, and/or quality experience in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of general contracting principles in a Department of Defense and commercial environment.
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be able to sit onsite in Sierra Vista, AZ
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ISO9001, AS9100 audits and principles.
- Experience using S4 ERP system.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity with inspection tooling such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges.
