Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems Sector has an opening for a Supplier Quality Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA on a 9/80 work schedule.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Plans, organizes, directs, and reports on supplier quality-related activities.
  • Perform investigations into quality issues. Coordinating and processing of Stock Purges and performing inspection to determine supplier responsibility.
  • Assures that customer quality-imposed requirements are adhered to and that a quality system is maintained.
  • Coordinates programs designed to improve supplier performance, productivity, and process validation.
  • Prepares, maintains and reviews quality assurance procedures to assure compliance with customer and/or government requirements.
  • Reviews and analyzes corrective action reports, defect data, and other supplier data. May coordinate and report on supplier rating process.
  • Monitors quality control activities and systems related to Supplier Quality and maintains feedback loops.
  • Analyzes quality data, creates metrics, performs defect trending, and presents findings. Extensively utilizes SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products), excel, and Tableau in these processes.
  • Problem Solving (develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity).

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience (manufacturing, quality inspection, supplier quality or global supply chain) OR  a masters degree with 1 year of experience (manufacturing, quality inspection, supplier quality or global supply chain)
  • Experience using SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products)
  • An Active DoD secret security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP, MES and Microsoft Applications
  • Manufacturing or Hardware Quality inspection experience
  • General inspection knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.

Salary Range: $77,100 USD - $115,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
