Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Test Conductor - Specialized in Software Integration and Lab Operations to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Integration, Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located in Melbourne, Florida.

In this role you will be supporting Lab Operations. Duties will consist of assisting with laboratory design, test planning and preparation, scheduling of test events, and assisting in the execution of test procedures. In this role you will ensure test stations and assets are configured and ready to test by deploying software and configuring hardware on test stations. In addition, you will work closely with QA to maintain and validate test station software and hardware. Participation in test readiness reviews, acceptance testing and integration events will also be required. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage lab configuration through detailed documentation
  • Support major test events
  • Accurately communicate lab status
  • Troubleshoot component and system level issues/discrepancies
  • Perform Test Conductor Duties supporting multiple subsystems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science and 2 years of relevant professional/military experience OR Master's Degree and 0 years of relevant professional/military experience OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have previous lab operations, lab troubleshooting and maintenance experience to be considered.
  • Must have an Active, In-Scope DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 years.
  • Must have the ability to obtain Special Programs Access (SAP) prior to the commencement of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in reading and comprehending schematic diagrams.
  • Experienced using Test Equipment, such as digital multimeters, O-scopes, power supplies, etc.
  • Experienced with Electronic Principles, MIL STD protocol for 1553, 429, and 1394 busses.
  • Familiarity with avionics systems and equipment, Test Stations, or Lab Operations.
  • Experience with software deployments and deployments tools.
  • Experience in Aircraft Ground Operations and Test.
  • Special Programs Access (SAP).

Salary Range: $66,600 USD - $99,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
