Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Quality Analyst to join our Iuka, Mississippi location. We are a world-class manufacturer of large composite rocket structures for commercial and military applications. Our team supports plant-wide manufacturing improvements in a low volume, highly technical environment. These roles will be integral to plant wide continuous improvement efforts and audit compliance. Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Manage plant wide corrective action improvements

  • Conduct and coordinate audits

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives

  • Work with Operations to implement Blue Sheet suggestions

  • New hire orientation training

  • Plant wide root cause and corrective action training

  • Help develop and maintain plant wide work area instructions

  • Coordinate monthly plant Quality review

  • Generate monthly key performance metrics and charts

Available Shifts:

NOTE: These shifts include a shift differential in addition to base pay.

  • B Shift Production: 7PM –530 AM, Monday - Thursday (4x10’s)

  • C Shift Production: 7AM - 730 PM, Friday - Sunday (3x12's)

  • D Shift Production: 7PM - 730 AM, Friday - Sunday (3x12's)

Travel is very minimal, if ever, (less than 10%) and within the US.
These roles may be filled at the Principal or Senior Principal level depending on the qualifications below.


Basic Qualifications:
Principal Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of quality work experience; or Master’s degree and 4 years of

  • quality work experience. Note: an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be

  • considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the non-conformance and corrective action process

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and Special Program Access 

Senior Principal Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of quality work experience; or Master’s degree and 8 years

  • of quality work experience. Note: an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be

  • considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the non-conformance and corrective action process

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and Special Program Access 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with composites or manufacturing environment

  • 6+ years of audit experience

  • MRB experience

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance


Salary Range: $70,600 USD - $106,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $87,500 USD - $131,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
