Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Quality Analyst to join our team in Philadelphia, PA.

The selected candidate will be responsible for Receiving Inspection and Production Assurance. They will be working with FOE/FOD, MRB, Corrective Actions, Customer interfaces.

Roles & Responsibilities will include the following:

Support quality evaluations involving the processing of materials and parts into partially finished or finished deliverable products.

Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.

Support developing and implementing quality methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

Support quality system audits and evaluations, and document any deficiencies.

Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. (QN Processing and MRB)

Support design development as it applies to product or process quality.

Will work with mechanical specs.

Perform Receipt Inspections (RI) on incoming material and parts (includes physical inspection and documentation review and acceptance)

Perform quality control (QC) inspections in a manufacturing environment.

Basic Qualifications: 

High school diploma and 10+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment in a Quality role (or a bachelor's degree and 6+ years or experience)

Experience working with mechanical design requirements and specifications.

Experience using CAD or similar mechanical design software.

Experience working with materials.

Possess mechanical aptitude.

Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Proficient using a spatial analyzer, measurement software, and CAD software.

Experience with embedded software and electronics.

Knowledge of CMM or Laser Measurement Systems

Experience with ISO 9000 and DCMA

Direct experience in Product Inspection and Receiving Inspection

Experience with Non-Destructive Tests inspection (MT, PT, visual, dimensional, etc.) on mechanical and structural components or systems

Salary Range: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
