Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a LSS Senior/Principal Test Conductor.  This position will be located in Roy, UT or Colorado Springs, CO and will support the Sentinel – Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You’ll Get To Do: 

Launch Support System (LSS) is a team of diverse disciplines deploying a flight test specific product at multiple locations. LSS has a significant and valuable impact on range safety and flight data management through the life of the Sentinel program and coordinates with multiple other product groups.

LSS is looking for an experienced Test Conductor to build test procedures for a ground up test program and then Lead the execution of the approved Test Plan on location for the LSS System. The selected candidates responsibilities include the following: 
• Build and Integrate LSS Hardware and Test Equipment in preparation for Test Activities 
• Produce Test Procedures that efficiently verify System Requirements and Test Objectives using procedure development software such as Jazz and Microsoft Products
• Coordinate with Test Planning Team to compile and deliver Customer Deliverable Documents
• Prepare for and execute Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) 
• Troubleshoot System Issues on location as they arise with assistance from design engineers
• Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support of integration and test activities.
• Participate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers (internal/external).
• Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component.
• Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.
• This position can be staffed at either Roy, UT or Colorado Springs, CO - travel from Colorado Springs is expected to be up to 50% during peak periods.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Principal Test Conductor

• 5 Years experience with a Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.  An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
• A strong understanding of Data Networks, and/or Mechanical, Electrical, or Digital Control Systems
• A strong understanding of Test Planning, Principles, and Processes 
• Practical experience developing/ system architectures and/or executing testing in a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment using software (SW) such as CAMEO. 
• Experience conducting testing in Field Testing Environments 

Senior Principal Test Conductor

• 9 Years experience with a Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.  An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
• A strong understanding of Data Networks, and/or Mechanical, Electrical, or Digital Control Systems
• A strong understanding of Test Planning, Principles, and Processes 
• Practical experience developing/ system architectures and/or executing testing in a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment using software (SW) such as CAMEO. 
• Experience conducting testing in Field Testing Environments 

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

 • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline from an ABET-accredited university.
• US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
• Experience deploying Data Acquisition Systems in field or lab environments to successfully capture test data 
• Prior experience in instrumentation of structures for static, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis, or electrical component/RF equipment test. 
• Experience with NX or similar Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling tools
• Adept at data analysis, queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Experience with Weapon Systems, Missile/Rocket Systems, or DOD programs

This position reports to Roy, UT, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Colorado Springs, CO, CO, USA.

Salary Range: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD

Salary Range 2: $10,700 USD - $160,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
