At Northrop Grumman, our employees have incredible opportunities to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives around the world today, and for generations to come. Our pioneering and inventive spirit has enabled us to be at the forefront of many technological advancements in our nation's history - from the first flight across the Atlantic Ocean, to stealth bombers, to landing on the moon. We look for people who have bold new ideas, courage and a pioneering spirit to join forces to invent the future, and have fun along the way. Our culture thrives on intellectual curiosity, cognitive diversity and bringing your whole self to work — and we have an insatiable drive to do what others think is impossible. Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.

About the role:

At Northrop Grumman, flexibility and performance are the foundation to our success in the numerous programs we run to support our Defence and government clients. Our SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) facility in Canberra is a prime example, and we are now seeking the services of an experienced B1 LAME to meet our expanding business requirements in Canberra.

Maintaining excellence on this highly visible fleet of aircraft is not an easy task and requires a proactive individual with a genuine “can do” attitude.

About you:

Experienced in line and heavy maintenance, you are an aviation professional committed to ensuring maintenance and safety requirements are met. You work well within a team but are happy to work autonomously during travelling engineer requirements. Customer service and communication are key as you work closely with and pivot between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You are B1 licenced and ideally are B737 or Falcon 7x type rated, however, the willingness to learn is just as favourable.

Relocate to Canberra:

Have you considered living in Canberra? Canberra is a welcoming, family-friendly city. With over 450,000 people, the Nation’s Capital is known for its community feel, progressiveness & diversity and its comfortable lifestyle.

Relocation assistance is available for you and your family.
