Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing 737 Max's and three Dassault Falcon 7X’s.
Your Role:
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking applications for a B1 and/ or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our SPA program in Canberra, ACT. As a LAME on the SPA program, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of the RAAF’s special purpose aircraft fleet, ensuring they are safe and airworthy for operational use, as well as supporting deployed operations as a travelling engineer.
About You:
Experienced in line and heavy maintenance, you are an aviation professional committed to ensuring maintenance and safety requirements are met. You work well within a team but are happy to work autonomously during travelling engineer requirements. Customer service and communication are key as you work closely with and pivot between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You are B1 and/or B2 CASA licensed Aircraft Maintenace Engineer
- Type rating in 737 Max or 7x is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to re-locate to Canberra, ACT (Re-location assistance available)
