We are currently seeking an SCA Electronics Maintenance Technician 2 to join our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
- Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing
manufacturers' manuals or similar documents, such as:
- Determining the location and density of circuitry
- Evaluating electromagnetic radiation
- Isolating malfunctions to component level
- Incorporating engineering
- Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as:
- Making circuit analyses
- Calculating wave forms
- Tracing relationships in signal flow
- Uses complex test instruments such as:
- High frequency pulse generators
- Frequency synthesizers
- Distortion analyzers
- Complex computer control equipment
- Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices
- May provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have an associate's degree (or higher) or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 3 years of electronics / electrical repair experience;
- Will also consider 5 years of direct electronics / electrical repair experience with HS Diploma/GED.
- Must have an interim or active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or an inactive clearance (last active within the past 2 years)
- Must be able to work any shift
- Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
