Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman?  If so, we want you to join our team as a SCA Supply Technician.  This full-time position is located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.You will become part of Northrop Grumman's P-3 Customs and Border Protection Program.**This is a Service Contract Act position.In this role, you will:

• Handle all applicable logistics functions for the PDM (Program Depot maintenance) site, to include transferring, ordering, packing, shipping, and receiving DoD and commercial material in support of PDM aircraft.

• Handle all applicable functions related to kitting of required materials for modifications, Air frame bulletins, or upgrades. This includes ordering, receiving, and packaging kits.

• Package and ship hazardous materials

Basic Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 7 years experience working directly in supply chain and / or logistics roles. A degree and 3yrs of relevant experience may also be considered.

2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

3. Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills

4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

5. Experience with hazardous shipping and handling

6. Ability to drive a forklift and utilize hand tools

7. Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems

2. Forklift operation certified

3. Hazmat shipper qualified

4. Experience in inventory analysis, material forecasting and transportation management

5. A current security clearance (Secret or higher)

6. A current DHS background investigation

Salary Range: $22 USD - $22 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
