Northrop Grumman Counter Threat Messaging Support Program (CTMSP)

Information is a key component of national power and at the core of military operations. With the proliferation of mobile technology and social media, leaders need to be able to shape and react to changes in the Information Environment (IE). We provide capabilities to project influence and behavior change, as well as collecting and protecting information to achieve political and operational advantages among foreign target audiences. The Counter Threat Messaging Support Program (CTMSP) provides Information Related Capabilities (IRC) to U.S. Government partners, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), sub-components and multinational allies to achieve strategic and operational advantages over adversaries and threats. Our best in class resources and operational research support capabilities that enhances our U.S. Government partner’s capabilities to participate and win in the IE. Our team have an unparalleled record at supporting U.S. national security interests with global powers, extremist organizations, addressing humanitarian crises and pandemics. Our CTMSP Team has assembled the largest and most comprehensive full spectrum IRC subject matter experts and capabilities.  Today’s current global field of Information Operations (IO) trained personnel is relatively small; our team includes military trained IO and PSYOP professionals with significant real world IO experience achieving mission success.

CTMSP conducts IO Campaigns, target audience and market assessments, and research from the most austere locations in the world to the most developed media markets. We support Global Powers Competition (GPC) efforts to address adversary disinformation, countering violent extremist organizations (VEOs) and their ideologies, promoting regional stability, trafficking, pandemics, humanitarian crises, as well as countering threats to U.S. national security interests. Through the use of information as an instrument of national power, we provide the capability to be highly responsive to the changing IE; staying engaged, adaptive and ahead of the adversary providing operational advantages to the U.S. Government. We manage a large multi-agency, global requirement supporting peacetime, crisis and contingency operations for currently 17 customer entities across five continents.
