Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is seeking a Principal Administration Generalist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at an international facility in Australia on a restricted program. The Principal Administration Generalist will report to the Business Manager of Program Control and will represent the organizational unit on administrative matters.

This role requires the candidate to have an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) Clearance and/or Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) Access through a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures
  • Performs as a generalist a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as finance, human resources, purchasing, research and development
  • May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required
  • Processing and tracking employee benefits and travel reimbursements.
  • Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards
  • Full knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies
  • Performs fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  • May develop and deliver presentations

Basic Qualifications: 

  • An active TS and/or SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience in business administration OR a Master’s Degree and 4 years of experience OR 4 additional years of stated experience in lieu of degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • International Business Compliance
  • Experience working for a cleared client in Aerospace or Defense

Salary Range: $70,200 USD - $105,200 USD
