NGA is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a project delivering command and control solutions to the Commonwealth of Australia

Your role:

As a new program working within our Integrated Systems portfolio, you can expect to grow and lead a team and set up the project using extensive suite of tools, resources and frameworks available to you. Apart from the program delivery you will drive program growth, product development, product support and be accountable for overall Profit & Loss.

The Senior Project Manager will influence program direction and maintain oversight of the product development roadmap to ensure forward planning. You will also work closely with the team to empower them to be creative and collaborative across all stakeholders. Our offering draws on experience and capabilities available from the broader Northrop Grumman Corporation backed by our Subject Matter Experts in the US. Thus, this role requires a skilled communicator able to establish trust and have proactive discussions with a wide range of stakeholders locally and abroad.

This position is ideally based in Canberra or Brisbane. Flexible work options are available.

About you:

You come from a program / project management background ideally with a focus on Command and Control software applications. You have a good foundational knowledge and experience across different methodologies (e.g. Agile) and best practices. A nice to have is experience working within Defence (CASG, CIOG, JCG etc.) however, knowledge of working in a heavily regulated environment is also good.
