NATO Deputy Site Lead

Supports NGDS Site Manager as Communications and Information Squadron (CIS) Manager and directs the Ground Control Element (AVMC2) maintenance.  Manages activities of subcontractor and IWO Field Service Representatives.   Employee manager for NGDS personnel assigned to the NATO Program on NAS Sigonella, Italy.  Supports NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) contractual requirements as required.  

Directs assigned phases of program objectives from inception through completion. Responsible for CIS specific technical statement of work / performance . He/she responsible for day to day activities of CIS support, including employee’s timesheets, performance evaluations, property control, facility, safety, security and daily production and directs the work of employees assigned from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. He/she provides leadership, guidance, and career development to all site employees. Ensures adherence to Northrop Grumman and NGDS Human Resources policies.  He/she maintains close coordination with the program manager and acts as his/her Delegate of Authority (DOA) when required.

Works closely with NGAS Sustaining Engineering team to resolve technical and support for Global Hawk related issues.  Ensures trained professionals on site for launch and recovery operations. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15 years military detachment or department experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years EXP or 15 Years equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of supervisory experience and strong technical background.
  • Detailed understanding of Cyber Security / Networking Maintenance Procedures
  • Able to obtain a NATO COSMIC Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Global Hawk Supervisor or Manager experience


Salary Range: $130,000 USD - $195,000 USD
