Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Advanced Programs Program Manager 2. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT and will support Advanced Programs.

What You’ll Get To Do:
This Advanced Programs position will support the programmatic and technical execution within a rapid development program. The Advanced Programs Execution Lead is expected to work collaboratively and drive performance from all engineering team disciplines and business operations to ensure technical and programmatic success. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, planning, and communication skills and possess experience in technical management.
Duties Include:
Leads the analysis, coordination, scheduling, and integration, and execution of engineering projects and programs within AP.
Supports staffing planning and estimation and provides resolution to engineering design conflicts and test problems.
Ensures design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 4 years of experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
At least 1-year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
3 years experience providing technical leadership of an engineering team or teams
1 year of experience in detailed design and engineering and manufacturing development
Must have US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Excellent technical leadership, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills with both internal staff and external customers and partners
Strong partnership/collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to partner cross-IPT/cross-discipline within a team
Strong program execution skills; Demonstrated ability to meet program technical, cost, and schedule milestones.
Ability to integrate, engage, and lead team to perform at top level of performance.
Ability to leverage experience/background to bring alternative ideas/solutions to the team
Experience with rapid prototyping and demonstration

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
