Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a F35 Repairs Program Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals with our F35 Program Management organization. This leadership role is onsite in Manhattan Beach, California.

In this role you will be leading cross functional teams in the execution and performance of the Repair of Repairable (ROR) component statement of work. You will be supporting the F35 Vice President and Program Manager as his subject matter expert on component repair and leading the Repair IPT supporting the Directors of Production and Sustainment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • ROR IPT profit and loss performance.
  • Drive timely and clearly communicated decisions and recommendations to the program Directors as well as the management team.
  • Leading and directing a Integrated Program Team (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, and technical performance targets.
  • Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community.
  • Developing relationships with vendors and suppliers, in coordination with subcontracts management and quality Functions, to meet program objectives.
  • Identifying challenges/issues, troubleshoot effectively, and escalate unresolved program issues in a timely manner to the appropriate level of leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s of Science degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in Program, Business or Subcontract management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.
  • Working knowledge Product Support, Global Supply Chain, and Contracts functions
  • Strong customer service experience and focus.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, budget management, and financial analysis.
  • Agility exploring complex data sets using data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau)


Salary Range: $147,800 USD - $221,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
