Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Program Manager 3 to join our leadership team of qualified, diverse individuals onsite in Iuka, Mississippi.
This is an IPT (Integrated Product Team) Lead role. This role is responsible for ensuring that their statement of work (SOW) meets cost, schedule, quality commitments through progressive, proactive leadership that drives cross-organization prioritization and decision making in the best interest of the system requirements and schedule.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure decisions related to the specific SOW are consistent with program level priorities and contractual requirements
- Provide independent assessment and management oversight regarding IPT status and major issues affecting the build
- Understand program risk areas and drive risk-managed decisions on a daily basis
- External Dependency integration into the build

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, or a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below
- Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions
- An active DoD Secret Clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluation
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)
- Experience in constraint management and in manufacturing
- Experience leading projects and/or teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Knowledge of earned value management (EVMS)
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Knowledge in Risk, Issues, and Opportunity management
- Active Special Program Access (PAR)
- Experience briefing executive level leadership
