Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Program Integration Manager 2 to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals in support of the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This leadership role is located in Roy, Utah. Learn more about the Sentinel (GBSD) program here.  Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

Responsible for leading teams that may include project managers and other individual contributors on the Sentinel program to support program management processes, implementation and driving discipline to ensure program commitments are met. The selected candidate will also support developing the strategic and tactical objectives. Functional Manager for assigned project managers/program integrators across the Support and Training Product Segment. This position will be responsible for coordinating with the Program IPTs and various stakeholders to integrate various program management products/documents, provide oversight across the Segment, and support the planning and implementation of any assigned ad hoc projects.  Eligible candidates must have an emphasis on qualities such as analytical thinking, people leadership, managerial skills, networking, excellent presentation skills, and a passion of excellence.  They should have experience with project management, and Program Management processes and enabling tools.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Develop deep and enduring Customer relationships by working closely with them and understanding their needs (both internal and external)
• Develop strong relationships with the team by working closely with them, understanding their roadblocks, and resolving issues.
• Ensure integrity, quality, coordination, and provide oversight for program projects
• Continual focus on decision making based on engineering efficiency for increased performance
• Experience in leadership skills to plan, organize, integrate and drive program activities across multiple engineering disciplines, along with the ability to effectively motivate people to work as an integrated team across locations, companies and cultures.
• Oversees projects and task assigned to the organizational group performed by non-exempt and/or exempt employees. Becomes involved as needed to ensure the success of the program. Makes decisions that support accomplishment of discipline objective.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 6 years of experience; 4 years with a Master’s Degree. An additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
• U.S. Citizenship required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior Program Integration experience
• Tableau, Primavera, COBRA, JIRA and Confluence experience
• Excellent communication skills and experience producing executive level presentations
• Prior management experience
• DoD Secret Clearance with current Special Program Access
• Prior Experience with Facilities and Staffing

Salary Range: $105,600 USD - $158,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
