orthrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Global Supply Chain Sr. Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite in Melbourne, Fl. The selected candidate will Integrate across IPTs and Sub IPTs and act as the focal for the GSC organization.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing Global Supply Chain projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

**This role is NOT a Manager OR Leadership position**


Essential Functions:

  • Ensures consistency in GSC processes across all GSC disciplines
  • Supports execution of supply chain strategy in the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
  • Acts as a GSC focal with various program IPTs / Sub IPTs and suppliers
  • Accurately builds/presents program-level leadership briefings focused on parts status and critical program milestones
  • Assists with different GSC affordability initiatives
  • The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be an effective communicator and will be expected to build relationships across program IPTs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience, 4 years of experience with a masters, or 14 years total work experience may be considered in place of degree. Experience should be primarily within supply chain, procurement, contracts, or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.or Level 4 Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience, 8 years of experience with a masters, or 14 years total work experience may be considered in place of degree. Experience should be primarily within supply chain, procurement, contracts, or project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have an Active, In-Scope, DOD Security clearance or higher that has been granted /renewed within the past 5-6 years.
  • Must have the ability to obtain program access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, including supply/demand tracking and planning within a manufacturing environment
  • SAP Knowledge
  • CAM Experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of employee and management

Salary Range: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $74,600 USD - $118,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
