Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Control Account Manager (CAM) within the Project management Job family to join our Strike team. This position will be located onsite in Melbourne, Florida.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and assignment management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, assignment managers, and program stakeholders.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 6 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution; 4 year with Master's degree for Principal role, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 10 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution; 8 years with Master's degree for an Sr. Principal role
  • Current, active DoD Top Secret clearance within 6 years of last investigation adjudication
  • Control Account Manager (CAM) experience/certification
  • Experience with Earned Valued Management systems
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Working knowledge of the EVM “Gold Card”
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project integration experience
  • Supplier management experience
  • Risk/issue/opportunities (RIO) experience
  • Experience in SCIF/SAPF environments
  • Scheduling experience
  • Experience and ability to autonomously assess complex problems and decompose them into a plan of action while coordinating across a large, diverse team of program, business, and technical SMEs.
  • Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience

Principal Project Manager Salary range: $74,600 - $111,800Sr. Principal Project Manager Salary range: $92,400 - $138,600

Salary Range: $74,600 USD - $111,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
