The Electronic Warfare Systems Operating Unit Growth and Capture Organization at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to continue its focus on program performance and profitable growth.  The project manager will oversee, manage and support the operational aspects of ongoing proposals and key growth pursuits with the EWS OU. The project manager shall manage all budget and financial oversight, shall support Long Range Strategic Planning to ensure accurate pipeline and strategic growth plans and support education initiatives within the Operating Unit concerning adherence to proposal standards. Additionally, the project manager shall work with all functional areas, including customers across all services, to support proposal generation and shape future opportunities.

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal level or Sr. Principal level.

• Principal grade level - Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Sr. Principal grade level - Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
• High-energy strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to operate and communicate at both a strategic and a hands-on level as needed
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines
• Ability to influence and drive results without direct authority of personnel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical, planning and presentation skills are required
• Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in business growth and/or proposal generation
• Experience leading a team to complete a specific scope of work and or Request for Proposal
• Experience supporting DoD / government contracts or project management experience in other industries

Salary Range: $82,400 USD - $123,600 USD

Salary Range 2: $102,200 USD - $153,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
