Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal/Senior Principal Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our ABSU Facilities and Maintenance organization. This role is located in Clearfield, UT.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviewing status of projects and budgets; managing schedules and preparing status reports. Assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Level:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree AND 6 years of project management focus on construction or building experience; OR a Master’s Degree AND 4 years of project management focus on construction or building experience.
  • Budget tracking and reporting experience
  • Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines
  • Ability to influence and drive results without direct authority of personnel

Senior Principal Level:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree AND 10 years of project management focus on construction or building experience; OR a Master’s Degree AND 8 years of project management focus on construction or building experience.
  • Budget tracking and reporting experience
  • Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines
  • Ability to influence and drive results without direct authority of personnel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification (Project Management Professional)
  • Project estimating experience
  • Familiar with proposal capture
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices

Salary Range: $74,600 USD - $111,806 USD
Salary Range 2: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
