The Sentinel (GBSD) program is looking for a Project Manager/Principal Project Manager to join our Program Integration Team located in Roy, UT. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What you’ll get to do: 

This team is responsible for oversight and integration of program operations, execution and managing the program performance baseline. This includes integration with cross functional disciplines to include master planning, configuration and data management, digital engineering, business management, risk management, processes and tools, engineering, and more.  This position regularly interfaces with senior management across the company and our customers. The selected candidate will assist in operational aspects of ongoing projects. The candidate will also review status of projects and budget, manage schedules and prepare status reports, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The selected candidate will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Complete requirements analysis and data entry as required.

  • Serve as an overall integration function for the program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence for program operations and execution.

  • Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools.

  • Coordinate schedules, requirements, and performance visibility to both the Program Office and the Customer while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

  • Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the program and represent program management in appropriate program reviews or boards.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks throughout project life cycle.

  • Support and generate proposal documentation as needed to foster new work.

  • Develop and deliver high level briefings to Program Leadership and/or customer.

  • Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization’s objectives.

  • Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Project Manager: 3 years with Bachelors; 1 years with Masters; or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Principal Project Manager: 6 years with Bachelors; 4 years with Masters; or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Must have U.S. Citizenship  with a current or active Secret level clearance with the ability to obtain SAP clearance.

  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience leading a team in successful completion of projects.

  • Intermediate to expert in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Experience using agile methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in technical data development is a plus.

  • Experience coordinating and working distinguished visitors' tours.

  • Experience coordinating and working strategic communications .

  • Ability gain program access.

Salary Range: $60,600 USD - $90,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $74,600 USD - $111,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
