As a Hardware Project Manager you will be supporting systems using current technologies and others yet to come. We are seeking team members who have a thirst for knowledge, approach each day with optimism, and have a relentless drive to solve complex problems. This position will be based onsite in our Colorado Springs facility.
As a Hardware Project Manager you will be able to:
Establish budgetary baselines for the Hardware Engineering functions with the DARC program through Cost Account Management (CAM) best practices
Manage, track and report earned value metrics
Support program integrated baseline reviews
Work closely with the engineering and program function leads to forecast labor
Work closely with engineering and program functions to accurately manage integrated master schedules
Manage and report on program schedules
Assess hardware project issues/risks and develop resolution plans
This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.
This requisition may be filled as either Principal Project Management or a Sr. Principal Project Management.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Project Management:
Active Secret Clearance at time of application
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's degree. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with cost plus and firm fixed price contract vehicles
Material account earned value management experience
Labor account earned value management experience
Subcontract labor account earned value management experience
Ability to develop and manage schedule tasks
Experience with integration of major subcontract schedules within prime integrated master schedule
Ability to use Microsoft Project
Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Project Management:

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's degree. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with cost plus and firm fixed price contract vehicles
Material account earned value management experience
Labor account earned value management experience
Subcontract labor account earned value management experience
Ability to develop and manage schedule tasks
Experience with integration of major subcontract schedules within prime integrated master schedule
Ability to use Microsoft Project
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science Degree
Active Top Secret clearance
Risk management experience
Earned Value Management Certification
Project Management Professional Certification
Hardware discipline organizational experience
Experience with the management of Subcontract values greater than 30 million dollars
Experience with managing labor cost accounts greater than 10 million dollars
